Mississippi River Between Hester and Wilson Parks

American Legion Post 76’s 61st Annual Fireworks Display is Central Minnesota's largest pyrotechnics show on July 4th. For the third year in a row Fireworks will be launched from barges on the Mississippi River between Hester and Wilson Parks beginning at 10pm on July 4th. Our Fireworks show will be synchronized to a specially selected music soundtrack. Great viewing areas will be available on both sides of the Mississippi River, in Wilson and Hester Parks, and other parts of the area.

Freedom Fest, a Fourth of July celebration, provides live music and food at Fifth Avenue North and Fourth Street North and Kids crafts, food and entertainment at both Wilson and Hester Parks prior to the Fireworks Display.
